Hurley Eagle Project

Posted on Updated on

Hi everybody,

Pending final Project Approval
My name is Brad Hurley.  I am currently a Life Scout.  I am working to become an Eagle Scout!
My Eagle Project is tearing out the old and building new horseshoe pits at Clement Park.  My project is going to be done on Sunday, June 4th, 2017.  My Eagle Project start time is 8:00 AM and will finish at approximately 5:00PM.  If you would like to volunteer to help, I would appreciate it!

All scouts and adults are welcome to participate.  Since this is an Eagle Project, all hours that you can volunteer, will be counted towards community service for rank advancement.  I will gladly sign off on all hours worked.  So, come help for an hour or all day. I will provide morning and evening snacks and Pizza for lunch!

I will need some additional tools to help with the completion of my Eagle Project.  If you have any of the following tools that you would like to allow me to use for the project, please let me know.

  1.  I need 2 additional wheelbarrows.
  2.  I need 2 additional Spade shovels.
  3.  I need 2 additional flat shovels
  4.  I need 1 additional garden rake
  5. I need 2-3 additional cordless screw guns (with extra batteries, or a charger)

All volunteers will need to fill out a Troop 640 permission slip (see attached permission slip).
Each volunteer will need to complete a Foothill Parks and Recreation volunteer release form (see attached volunteer release form).

Also included with this email is a map with directions to parking and my Eagle Project work site (see attached map and directions).
