Every year in April, we gather as many new scouts as possible and do an overnight camping/training experience at Bear Creek Lake Park (City of Lakewood).  Our goal for the outing is to complete all of the requirements for the Rank of Tenderfoot (with the exception of the Scoutmaster’s Conference, and Board of Review).  It is strongly encouraged for all new Scouts and at least one parent of each new Scout to attend.

Both Scouts and Parents will be learning about what it takes to be a successful scout/scouter. While the Scouts are learning and mastering their Tenderfoot Rank Skills, we will be holding a training to help adults understand how to support the Troop by being an Adult Leader on a camp-out.

EXISTING SCOUTS AND SCOUTERS – We need your  help!  Please contact Todd or Teddy Williams if you would like to help teach or support Project Tenderfoot. We need instructors, support staff, and Adult leaders.  There is a job for everyone!
